   Question/Topic:
Organizer doesn't start and "Cannot open Master.dbf" and "Exception Access Violation" messages are displayed.

Solution 1

  1. Download the full version of Borland Database Engine from our home page: bde32.exe
  2. After downloading Bde32.exe file run it and follow the setup steps.
  3. Delete all DLL files in your Organizer Deluxe folder if there are any (e.g. idapi32.dll).

If this doesn't help use the steps from the next solution.



Solution 2

  1. Start Designer and click on Create/Modify Layout.
  2. Select your database and make sure the layout is correct.
  3. Close the Layout windows by clicking on OK.

If this doesn't help use the steps from the next solution.



Solution 3

If you still cannot start Organizer try to use Repair Database function in Designer (repair the database that was last used).
