Question/Topic: How to add a new web address field?

  1. Start Organizer Deluxe.
  2. On the File menu, click Designer.
  3. In the Designer window click Modify Database.
  4. In the Select Database window select database name in the Available Databases box. Click OK.
  5. In the Modify Database window click New Field.
  6. Enter your field name into Field Name box, select Character in the Field Type drop down box, enter 120 in the Field Size box. (the web address field will store the url address to the page; if you think that the address is very long enter 240 as your size). Click OK.
  7. In the Modify Database window click Save. Field Layout Designer is displayed.
  8. In the Database Fields there is your new web address field (e.g.: URLADDRESS), click on the field so the radio box in front of the field changes to a check mode.
  9. In the Data Entry Control window select Web Address and click OK.
  10. The new Web Address field is inserted into the data display page.
  11. Click OK.
  12. In the Designer click Organizer Deluxe.
  13. Your database is modified and has the new Web Address field.

There is no limit on a number of web address fields.

Your previous backup file will no longer be compatible with your restructured database. Before you use this function make sure your database is up-to-date and not corrupted.
All Record Templates will be lost.
