Question/Topic: Adding art gallery items.

1. Open ArtWorks database:

• On the File menu, click Load Database. Select ArtWorks database and click Load
• Click New Record button, enter or select Artist/Maker, enter Title (required), enter additional work information.

2. ArtWorks database, documents:

• On the File menu, click Load Database. Select ArtWorks database and click Load
• Click Doc. tab to display or enter documents.

artworks/documents; link any file with the art record; double click on the File name to open it

click with the right mouse button on the document field to display popup menu, select Add Records to add new documents

3. ArtWorks database, purchase/cost information:

• On the File menu, click Load Database. Select ArtWorks database and click Load
• Click Cost tab to display or enter purchase and expenses information.

artworks/purchase and costs; enter/display purchase cost, enter/display additional costs

3. ArtWorks database, sale information:

• On the File menu, click Load Database. Select ArtWorks database and click Load
• Click Sale tab to display sale information

artworks/sale information; sale information is only displayed when item is sold; total costs and profit are calculated automatically
