Question/Topic: Why I am not able to find some books using Library Pro web search procedure?
ISBN number (International Standard Book Number)

10-digit ISBN number: the number has 9 digits + 1 check digit; the last digit could be X;
valid 10-digit ISBN numbers, examples:0316769487, 067973225X

13-digit ISBN number: the number has 12 digits + 1 check digit;
valid 13-digit ISBN numbers, examples: 9780385521680, 9780670020485
Invalid ISBN numbers:
094884 : not a 10-digit or 13-digit number
09488483983838338 : not a 10-digit or 13-digit number
978-038552168 : invalid character "-" inside the number
Our program does not find the book because:

The ISBN number contains spaces or other invalid characters (example: "-", "=", "/", SPACE, TAB, ..). Valid entries are: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,X

The ISBN number contains invalid number of digits. The correct ISBN number is a 10-digit number or 13-digit number.

The number is a 10-digit or 13-digit but is not a valid ISBN number.

The number is valid but the book is not listed on the selected web search site (example: old books, soft cover books are not listed in the Library Of Congress catalog...)
