Question/Topic: Library toolbar search, non stop search?
1. Simple Search (All Fields):
On the toolbar click Search.
Select search scope (1.).
Enter text that you want to find (2.).
Select starting position or search type (3.).
Click Find (4.).
Found Text is highlighted (5.).
Click Red Arrow (6.) button to synchronize Detailed Window
(Record Display Form) with the Table of Contents (7.).
Click Next to continue search (8.).
2. Search, Non Stop Mode:
Non Stop Mode: The program goes through entire database looking for
records that match search criteria. When the search is finished ONLY those
records are displayed that contain the text. In order to return to
All-Records-Display set the Filter Scope option to All Records (in the Filter
dialog box), or select All Records in The Filter Button Popup Menu.
Select Non Stop Mode.
Click Find to execute search.
The search is executed.
Only records that contain the search text are displayed.
To return to all records display:
Click with the right mouse button on Filter button.
Select All Records.
3. Search, Non Stop Mode (simple filter sample): display books that belong to
one category: reference
Select CATEGORY (1.).
Enter "reference" (2.).
Select Non Stop Search (3.)
Click Find (4.)
Organizer displays only books that have "reference" value in the CATEGORY
To return to all records display mode click with the right mouse button on
the Filter button and select All Records.
