transfer databases from one computer to another

In order to transfer a database from one computer to another do the following:

Use Backup function (Advanced/Maintenance) on the first computer and create a backup file on your hard disk (you cannot create a backup file directly on a CD).
Using Windows Explorer copy the backup file to a CD ROM (or copy it directly to the other computer).
Copy the backup file from the CD to the hard disk of the other computer.
Use Restore function (Advanced/Maintenance) to restore your database from a backup file.
