If our auto cataloguing feature (search by ISBN) does not return results it does not mean that the book is not listed in the source catalogue:

The book search catalogs often do not list the item with the ISBN number you entered into the search box. Frequently they have another edition of the item with a different ISBN.
Sometimes the book is very old and does not have ISBN number.
Sometimes invalid ISBNs are entered into the search box (ISBN has to be 10 digit or 13 digit number, only digits, no other characters).

If there is another book search engine that gives good results, please let us know. Then, we can review it and include it in our software. For example, after a user's suggestion, our auto-cataloging feature can add new items from the British Library. The search is by BL system number.
