Question: I would like to be able to use a scanner with this program. My school library has given me a WoneNice laser barcode scanner. Is this scanner compatible with Handy Library Manager? If not, which scanner do you recommend?

Question: Can you kindly let me know what types of scanners are compatible with this program? And once we have purchased the scanner, how do we link it so that the Handy Library Manager recognizes it?

Answer: Any 1-D bar code scanner support check in/out, auto-cataloging features. You just connect the scanner with the computer and our software recognizes it.

Question: Does your Handy Library manager support the Xenon 1900 Honeywell 2D sixth generation area imaging software? I am about to place an order for the software. I will appreciate a quick response

Answer: Yes our software supports this scanner. If you plan to use this scanner only with our software, you can find a good scanner at half price, that supports 1-D barcodes (linear barcodes).

Question: I just got a scanner for our library. I tested the scanner in notepad and it works great! Could you please email me the tutorial pages for how to use the scanner within the program to:
1) Auto-input a book's information into the catalogue.
2) Use the scanner to check books -in and –out
