Public-key encryption
Public-key encryption is an encryption technique that uses a pair of keys. Files encrypted with one key (public key) can only be decrypted by the other key (private key). The Public key is distributed to parties that are going to encrypt files. Files encrypted with the Public key can only be decrypted by the holder of the Private key.
