RSA encryption
RSA encryption is a public-key encryption algorithm.
-
Method based on the RSAES-OAEP scheme RSA Encryption Scheme - Optimal Asymmetric Encryption Padding. It is the encryption scheme recommended by RSA Security.
- It uses 1024, 2048-bit keys.
Public-key encryption is an encryption technique that uses a pair of keys. Files encrypted with one key can only be decrypted by the other key. The Public key is distributed to parties that are going to encrypt files. Files encrypted with the Public key can only be decrypted by the holder of the Private key.
