How to search on the web for records that are already in your database?

Update Records from the Internet: You can find books that are already in your database and update some information. The search of the Internet is done according to the specified database field (field with a unique value) (e.g. it could be ISBN field). This feature allows you to update selected fields (specified in the Field Mapping) for selected records according to Update Rules.

On the Web menu click Update Records from the Internet.
In the Search By box select the search type (for example you can search books by ISBN number). The Search By has to be the same as the database field used for search.
In the Search Site box select a site that you want to search.
Click on the Search Items tab. In the Database Field used for Search box select a field that will be used for the search (example: ISBN field).
Click Search Selected Sites to start the search. Organizer Deluxe will search the site, extract the data, and list results in the Found Items table or NotFound Items table. When the search is active (in progress) you can click Abort button to stop the search.
Check/Uncheck the box in front of each item to select/unselect it. Click Update to modify the data. Field mapping is defined in the Data Field Mapping text box.

Update Selected Record from the Internet: You can find information on the web only for one record in your database. Just select the record and click Update Selected Record from the Internet command on the Web menu. The search of the Internet is done according to the specified database field (e.g. it could be ISBN field). This feature allows you to update selected fields (specified in the Field Mapping) for the selected record according to Update Rules.
