Question/Topic: Equipment/Tools Management System: Databases

On the File menu, click Load Database to display Load Database window, databases listed are :

_ReadMe1st	includes help topics
Employeesnote: you can rename this database and store information about students, personnel, job sites,...	enter information about people who will check out (loan) and check in (return) items from/to your equipment/tool inventory
EquipmentTools	enter information about items (tools, equipment,...)
Maintenance	enter information about maintenance transactions
Suppliers	enter information about suppliers
Loan Database	entries to this database are created/modified automatically when check out and check in transactions are processed in the Loan/Return window
Reservation Database	entries to this database are created/modified automatically when reservation transactions are processed in the Reservation window
Fines	entries to this database are created/modified automatically when the fine feature is enabled

Notes:

• Equipment/Tools Inventory administrator only enters and modifies data in 4 databases: Equipment/Tools, Borrowers, Maintenance, Suppliers.
• There is not limit on the number of records (inventory items, borrowers, check in and check out transactions). The practical limit is determined by the amount of free space on your hard disk and by the speed of your hardware (PCs and network). We have tested the software with up to 100,000 records.
