Question/Topic: How to print library book loan receipts?

  • Open Process Loans window
  • Scan borrower id barcode (1.) into Borrower ID box (or enter the number manually) (1)
  • Scan item barcode (2.) into Item Bar Code box (or enter the number manually) (2)
  • Note: the Auto Processing Mode option is selected
  print library receipt, select borrower and items
 
  • Scan another barcode from the next item (or enter the number manually) (3)
  • Repeat this procedure for all books (items)
  • All loaned items are listed in Items Loaned By This Borrower (4)
  • Click Print Receipt (5)

 
  • Select paper size in Print Setup (6)
  • Click OK to print or preview (7)

  • Review receipt in Report Preview window.
  • Click Print icon to print.

Question:
Printing library book loan receipts, an you please provide instructions for doing this? Also, do you recommend a special printer (i.e., some that prints a small 3 x 5 approx.?) to produce a receipt at check out time? Can we include TITLE, BORROWER, Date out, and Date Due?
