We are a remodelling company and have a inventory of tools in our back room for carpenters to check out and take to job site for use and they are suppose to bring them back to the backroom and check them in. and at times we need to get the tool to use at another site so we need to know who checked it out and where they are.
I am currently researching tool tracking software systems for my electrical contracting company. There are approximately 20 trucks which are equipped with most of the tools needed by employees. There is still equipment such as ladders and other tools that are shared by employees and need to be tracked. Currently, there is no tool tracking system in place. Could you send an estimate of the cost of your software and the equipment (scanner, etc.) which would be required to set up a tool tracking system?
I have tried a couple of your products, Equipment Tracker and Stockroom Organizer Pro. I like both of these products. I like features of both if I could combine them it would be great. What I am looking for is software that allows one person to enter inventory and keep up with the amount of inventory. It also need to allow other people to remove inventory by scanning the product but does not allow them to add any inventory. I also need to be able to generate barcodes and print labels as well as reports .Do you have anything like this? IF you do I would love to try it.
I oversee the Multimedia Classrooms and Portable Audio/Video sections at State University. Our Portable A/V section checks out equipment for classes that are held in rooms without permanent A/V equipment or computers in them. Right now, we have an Excel spreadsheet that helps us track deliveries and items that get checked out, but running reports on this is tedious or sometimes impossible. Also, we have paper forms that we fill out for checked out items that customers pick up and return. We would like to purchase software that will allow us to track our delivered inventory as well as items that have been picked up by customers.

(700 items). We loan equipment to students (200) each semester. We are looking for an efficient way
of checking out and tracking our equipment. There are about 2000 transactions. I would like to have
a system that can record all of this information. Preferably could even have bar-code capability,
barcode scanning, barcode labels.

We need an inventory catalog, we want to organize our media library. Need a searchable database with barcodes for checkout, and easy to add new media items articles, press releases, dvds, tapes, articles, magazines, etc.) We want password protected and set different access levels to users and employees. Easy to use so employees should be able to use. Track item location and category. Run some reports.
I am working as a chief admin in a small-medium business company. We have 100 strength employee and over 500 items in our inventory. I seek your recommendation to which software your good company offer to store database of employee records and items in the inventory. The database should be able to store images, in this case the employees photo for identification and photos of the inventory items. The software should in one page, show each employees particulars and the other, items in the inventory with other information such as date of purchase, brand, model no.. Etc. I hope I am clear in my request and you would be able to assist me the right software to use.
