The company I work for is looking for a software that can keep an inventory of our hundreds of pieces of video equipment invetory, as well as tracking serial numbers of each piece of equipment, cost, and receipts from when we bought the items. I was thinking some sort of software that the videographers could check out the equipment on a set laptop. We'll probably only have no more than 5 people checking out the equipment, though. I was looking at both the Equipment/Tool Organizer Pro, v2.9 and Equipment Tracker Pro, v2.9. 1) Which one of the two software programs would be the best fit for our needs? 2) The software only works on PCs, correct?

Hello, I work at the Film School in the Equipment room. We have tons of equipment for the students and we were looking for a check in\out software to use. I was looking at your equipment/tool organizer pro v2.8 software and just wanted to know if that was the best for us. We have kits with several different items, our loss to replace ratio isn't instant so does the software allow let say, scan the sound kit all items are listed but the headphones aren't there can we make notes or check it off so when it is retuned we know that the student didn't lose them? Also Our students have id cards with a barcode on it, could we use those with your system? Hope all this makes sense. Thank you.

We are a trucking company and we have equipment such as load bars, furniture pads, pallet jacks etc... that our drivers check out for a load then return when they are finished with the equipment. I thought that your check- in/check-out would be ideal for this but there is no place that I can find that allows for a quantity. Drivers for example may check out 50 furniture pads and 10 load bars for a load they are going to be doing. The only way I see to do this in the check-in/check-out system is to "LOAN" each piece of equipment one piece at a time.

I need a system that will keep inventory (what is on hand and what is loaned out) and check items in and out in quantities. The fine option also looked interesting in your check-in/check-out system. Drivers are permitted to keep the equipment as long as they need but if any equipment is missing when they return the equipment they are charged replacement cost of the missing equipment.

Another issue is that not all of the material in intend on coming back, and once that item is gone we need our inventory to reflect that change. We also need the ability to use a bar scanner with the system. Is there any one of your programs that is best suited for our needs?

Our company needs to track our tools, we want to upgrade our simple system. Need a system database that will track our tools with a check in check out feature.
