Grid Scrolling

The grid supports two scrolling modes:

1. Scrolling of the grid up and down displays different area of the grid and changes the selection of the row on the grid. The new selection is synchronized with the record display form. The record form updates automatically when you scroll.
2. Scrolling of the grid displays different part of the grid and does not change the selection of the row (only highlights a new row). The record form does not change the display with the scrolling. In this mode use the following commands:
   - Press Enter key to select the highlighted row (if the grid has the focus).
   - Use Ctrl-Z to select the highlighted row (when the grid does not have the focus).
   - Use Ctrl-Y to synchronize the record displayed on the form with the selected row on the grid.
   - Display the grid popup menu and click Select Record.
   - Use mouse pointer; it always selects the row and updates the record form.

To change the scrolling mode open the grid popup menu and check or uncheck Record Scrolling With Grid (Ctrl-X).

How to scroll the grid?

• Use the scroll bar.
• Use navigation commands.
• Use keyboard keys: Arrow, Page Up, Page Down, Ctrl-Home, Ctrl-End.
• Use mouse pointer (it always selects the row and updates the record form).

Scrolling mode 1:
Scrolling of the grid up and down displays different area of the grid and changes the selection of the row on the grid. The new selection is synchronized with the record display form.

Scrolling mode 2:
Scrolling of the grid displays different part of the grid and does not change the selection of the row (only highlights a new row). New record is highlighted (1) and selection remains the same (2).

Grid Popup Menu
The grid popup menu offers several scrolling commands. You can also use shortcut commands.

• Synchronize Grid With Selected Record (Ctrl-Y)
• Select Record (Ctrl-Z)
• Record Scrolling With Grid (Ctrl-X)

To change the scrolling mode you can use shortcut command Ctrl-X or check/uncheck the grid popup command (Record Scrolling With Grid). To open the popup menu click with the right mouse button on the grid.

Synchronize Grid With the Selected Record
The popup command synchronizes the Record Grid with the current record in the Details Page.
