Organizer Advantage, Home Windows Network installation.
I have Organizer Advantage and I have programmed quite a few apps for my own use. I really like the product!
To date I have developed 30 apps (some just variations or his/her type things). I have a BBA in accounting and an AAA in computer science. I am retired from a 37 year career in I.T.. I was primarily in mainframe computers but did some VB and .Net and about 7 or 8 COBOL variations ranging from a PC level up to mainframe.
The bean counter in me likes to keep track of expenses, medical records
and home records, etc. This software gives me the ability to develop
my own, simple apps to do this with and I have found no other as easy
as this to use. There are some features I would like to see but then
all software can use improvements here and there. I was primarily in
new development of applications but did some maintenance work as well
(about 65/35 split).

Question:
I have done all development and run the apps on my main
desktop Dell PC. I have another Dell All-In-One PC I recently
purchased. All PCs and printers are attached to my home
network and the PCs have shared C drives with each other. I
also have an Asustor NAS System attached to my home
network and all folders on the NAS system are mapped to
each PC using the same drive letters on each PC to enable
full sharing of data.
Is there any way to use the common NAS system to run
Organizer Advantage from both PCs and run the same apps
and update the same files in common? Or - is there a way to
keep Organizer Advantage on the main Dell desktop and
create shares that would allow the apps to be run from the
Dell AIO computer?
It would be nice to run the apps from both PCs...
Answer:
Organizer Advantage supports network installation.
