I have downloaded free trial versions of your book library software; Small Library Organizer Pro, Church Library Organizer Pro and Simple Library Organizer Pro. I'm in the mist of evaluating these pieces of your work. Our school is a Christian one with grades K-12. Our two libraries one for K-6 and the one contain a number of books, videos and other material number much less than 2,000 items. The part time librarian has intermediate computer experience. My wife and I would buy the software necessary to establish this library. Of course we would like buy the product we need as low as possible. The price paid would depend on the software selected, etc. With all the information suggested so far, what version of your library software would be appropriate for our school to use. Middle school without a book library system. We are looking to implement a checkout system with an ISBN scanner. Eventually we will have a school with 600 students and a couple hundred books. We need to manage the circulation of the materials and track who has them.

The value of the book is important to community libraries because they get donated so many books and seeing the value will be able to make them see if they should put it on the shelf or sell the book on Amazon. libraries need to generate money to stay open.

Our school will soon be upgrading to Windows 7 and our program cannot support that. We need to import records from our old library system. We need the following capabilities: check in and check out of books, inventory of collections, barcode scan of book labels and student ID cards, book reservation, print and email overdue notices, easy cataloguing, importing, track books on loan, year end inventory, summaries (how many times a book was checked out). Should run on Windows comptuers, We need the library system for about 10 schools, we do not want to pay more than 700 per library.

We need to track books in and out of library with barcode scans. We want to print list of overdue books by student name. We want to maintain the list of materials, status. Support bar code scanner. Separated database of books, students, and circulations.
