Handy Equipment/Tool Manager supports the following circulation transactions:

  1. Check In
  2. Check Out
  3. Renewal
  4. Reservation

You can process the above transactions in the following ways:

  1. Use a barcode scanner and an item barcode label or a borrower ID card.
  2. Enter barcodes manually.
  3. Select items and borrowers using the Lookup feature.

There are two barcode scanning modes.

  1. Enter Key: scanned/entered number is processed after Enter key is pressed.
  2. Timer: scanned/entered number is processed after a small time delay (use this mode when you are using a scanner).
