Simple Equipment/Tools Inventory solution, how to start?
Step 1:
Enter your equipment items into EquipmentTools database.

You have to enter only the ITEM_NAME value to operate your equipment/tool circulations (check in and check out transactions).
- The ITEM_NAME field has to contain the unique value.
We know that many tool cribs do not use barcode scanners and barcode labels when processing check in/out transactions. In order to support this feature our inventory system requires unique entry into ITEM_NAME field.
If you have 2 or more items with the same name, enter them in the following way:
"Makita 18V Compact Cordless Drill - 1"
"Makita 18V Compact Cordless Drill - 2"
Notes:
- Names of all fields explain what type of information you can enter.
- You can rename data field names.

Enter your employee and job data into Employees/Jobs database.
- Enter employee and job by typing.
- Enter data from text, excel, or other files. (Import)

Step 3:
Define due date, fine(optional) and barcode(optional), and other parameters that you would like to use when processing check in and check out transactions.
Step 4:
Your equipment/tool inventory system is ready to process check in and check out transactions.
- Process check-out and check-in transactions manually (select, enter tool name and employee name.
- Process loan and return transactions using barcode labels and barcode scanners (scan employee and tool barcode label).
- You can process check-in and check-out transactions using the inventory system (when Equipment/Items database is loaded) or using Check In/Out module (stand-alone application).
