We are looking for the best software to run a small community library.

We are confronted with the challenges of running a small library. Our local council library is due to close and we are considering how best to run this as a community run library. Whilst in discussions with the local authority about continuing to link to their library management system we are also exploring the options for setting up a stand alone system.
I have reviewed your Handy Library manager and Small Library Organizer Pro
Can you provide information on the relative advantages of both systems as it is not clear from your website as to which would be most suitable.
Also can you provide purchase price and ongoing charges for these systems please.

The best software solution for the community is Handy Library Manager. Please read library reviews. Compare systems: Handy Library - Small Library Pro. Review prices of our library packages for small communities.

I am the Activity Director for a large life plan community in a suburb of Chicago. We currently own copies of Book Organizer Deluxe for our two libraries and the residents are interested in something a little more advanced where people can look online to see if books are available etc. We would like to be able to share resources between the two cummunity libraries as well. What I am trying to determine is, is there a program like Handy Library that will accept a current backup of Book Organizer Deluxe so the information does not have to be re-entered?

We offer free help and service with library data transfer.
