Non-profit library is asking about package selection.

We're a small non-profit with a small library. We know we want to purchase Handy Library but just not sure which package. It's likely 1 or 2 people will be mostly responsible but we'd like to be able to access the program on multiple computers if necessary. Can you help determine which would be the best option for us? Thanks!

See our price guide on non-profit library software packages. You need network license If the main program (Library Administrator) has to be accessed from multiple computers. You need only one user license if the main program (Library Administrator) is accessed on one computer, and only the search module is accessed from multiple computers.
Handy Library Manager costs $345.00
Network License, there is discount for non-profits, add only $200

Our local council run library is due to close and we are considering how best to run this as a community run library. Whilst in discussions with the local authority about continuing to link to their library management system we are also exploring the options for setting up a stand alone system. I have reviewed your "Handy Library" manager and "Small Library Organizer Pro 3.2 Can you provide information on the relative advantages of both systems as it is not clear from your website as to which would be most suitable. Also can you provide purchase price and ongoing charges for these systems please.

I'm in development for Behind the Book, a nonprofit literacy organization looking into adopting a library management system. Regarding features for this program, I was wondering if it included the following:
- scanner that inputs titles into a database & checks it for availability
- a system that only searches for NY based authors and shows their catalog (or has that option)
We're searching for a program or database that would be able to do this, and while HandyLibraryManager seems to be more suited for library circulation, it'd be great if there might be any way it could be adapted to these specific tasks. If you could let me know as soon as possible that would be great, thank you!
