Images, Copy and Paste
To copy an image from another application and paste it into Advantage, you can enter a name for the image or leave the field empty. If you leave it empty and click OK, Advantage will automatically generate a name that includes the table name, field name, and record ID number. The image will be saved in the following location: "c:\your-advantage\data\db\img\".
Use the copy image command in the browser.
Use the paste command in the Advantage. Do not enter the name; click OK.
WINE_INVENTORY-IMAGE-000001.jpg
The name includes the table name (WINE_INVENTORY), field name (IMAGE), and record ID number (ID).
