I am assisting a church/school with finding software to relocate their current library, which has approximately 9,000 items, to a different app. Could you help me with the following questions?
1. Which software package would allow us to provide an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) for church/school members?
2. After the initial purchase, what is the yearly support cost, and how many years is this pricing guaranteed?
3. Does the support offer priority access? If so, is assistance provided via phone, email, or a web portal?

1. Software Package for Online OPAC

Online OPAC (Web Search) is supported by both our local and cloud licenses. This feature requires an active Support subscription. You have two main options:

Local Installation (One-time payment):

  • 1 PC License: $345.00 (Standard single computer).
  • Up to 5 PCs License: $440.00 (Total cost for up to 5 computers).
  • School / Non-Profit Network License: $545.00 (Total cost for unlimited simultaneous access within one location).
  • Yearly Support: $59.95/year (Required for Web OPAC).

Cloud Installation:

The library software is installed on your Windows PCs, but the data is hosted on our secure servers.

  • Total First Year Cost: $1,054.95 (Includes software, cloud license, and support).
  • Ongoing Cost: After the first year, there is a $250.00/year hosting fee.

2. Yearly Support Cost and Pricing

The optional support fee is $59.95/year. While the base software is a one-time purchase, major upgrades are released every 3-4 years. Upgrading to a new version is optional and involves a separate fee.

3. Priority Support Access

Users with valid Support subscriptions are granted priority status with quick response times. Support is primarily handled via email and our web portal to ensure detailed and accurate assistance.
