We have a small library that consists mostly of science materials as opposed to books, with about 500 patrons.
Before booking a demo, could you please let me know the following:
1.The platform of the system - is it hosted in the cloud or on a local client/server. If locally, what operating systems can it run on?
2.Also, if it's locally, is there a way for patrons to view the catalog?
3.Are you able to import existing patron and item databases from Alexandria into your system?
4.The cost per month or year.
5.What sort of support and trainings are available?
6.What libraries currently use your system?
7.What are the main/highlighted capabilities of the system?

1. 2. a) our software runs on Windows computers, you can install it on one PC computer or on a Local Network (Server/Client system)
b) we also offer a cloud version; you can install server application on your Windows Web Server computer;
Patrons can view the catalog with desktop search or web search.
3. We do not support direct transfer of data from other library system. Library systems (Alexandria included) support export to text formatted files, spread sheet files, or marc files. We suggest users to send those files to us and we provide free transfer (assuming data is in a good condition), it takes us 1-business day to convert data to our system.
4. There is one time payment. Once in a while we release a new version, users who want to upgrade pay upgrade fee. We provide yearly support. The cost depends on the license you would like to purchase. For schools we offer discount (includes network license or multiple installations within one location).
