Non-profit Community Library Interested In Handy Library. We are a small non-profit Community Library that is interested in PrimaSoft PC, Inc. Our previous Library system, Stacks is no longer current so a new program is a must! After downloading the free trial, we have a few questions to ask about some features that are on our previous library software, in hopes that these features can apply through your software.
1. Can spine labels be printed?
2. Patron Status: Does this record when a patron membership expires, besides Status: Active, inactive, banned (Our previous system can record one-year memberships)
3. Does program record late fees? (We charge 0.25 a day per overdue book)
4. Does program record Holiday’s, Closed Days?
5. Will program allow a print of overdue books/fines?
6. What is the price for your cataloging system?
7. Do we have to pay every year?
8. Is there an online site where information can be imported into the system or do we catalogue books manually?
9. Is there an unlimited amount of book titles that can be entered?

1. You can print spine labels; many labels are predefined; please review: how to design spine label; spine labels samples. 2. There is Expiry date, you can use this date to set the date when a patron membership expires. Please read more: library membership expiry date We can help you to create search definitions that will display patrons with expired membership, or whose membership expiry date is coming soon.
3. Yes it allows to calculate fines. (library fines).
4. The program does not record holidays, closed days.
5. Overdue reports are supported. Fine reports are supported.
6. What is the price for your cataloging system? Handy Library Manager: $US 345 Non-profit License, (unlimited one location license, includes network license): + $200 (optional) Support : $59.95 / year (optional)
7. You don't have to pay every year. When we release upgrades users pay for the major upgrade (once per 3 or 4 years, it’s optional).
8. Online book cataloging is supported for users with the support ($59.95/year).
