You can only enter additional fines in the check-in/check-out transaction window. Scan the borrower's ID card or select the borrower from the lookup box. The fine commands are available on the Fines/Payments tab.
Add Fine: Specify the amount for any fines incurred.
Item Lost Fine: Specify the fine amount for lost items; this can be linked to the price field.
Item Damaged Fine: Enter the fine amount for damaged items.
Question:
Prior to switching over to HLM their were some students with unpaid fines from the previous school year.
I want to be able to add these carry over fines to their new HLM patron account. Is there a way for me to do that?
Answer:
You can perform this action in the check-in/check-out transaction window. Select the student using
their barcode number or the lookup dropdown box. On the Fines/Payments page,
click on Add Fine and then input the fine amount.
