How to edit item or borrower data in the check-in/check-out window?

In the check-in/check-out window, you have access to the borrower or item record. You can enter any note or change the status and later process marked items/borrowers from the main catalog or the patron table.

Use Edit Item or Edit Borrower feature in the following situations:

  • mark items that are lost
  • mark items that need new barcode labels
  • mark items that need new spine labels
  • mark damaged items
  • mark borrowers that need new library cards
