Q1: We are currently using Delicious Monster for our Lending Library with over 3,000 items but it has a limited number of contacts that you can have at one time. Sometimes we have 150-200 contacts that we add for the semester depending upon the number of faculty and students who need to check items out. With Delicious it seems once we reached a certain number that it changed all their names to "no name" and created a mess.
Answer: There are no limits on the number of items or borrowers.

Q2: We have already created our own bar codes which we use our hand scanner on and coded thousands of items so do not want to have to start from scratch again. Will Handy Library Mgr work with our existing barcodes?
Answer: You can use your barcodes.

Q3: Can we import our existing library from Delicious or Excel to Handy Library?
Answer: Yes you can import data from Excel.

Q4: Do we get automatic updates or is this something we have to pay for? Also how much does it cost for email support?
Answer: Major update cost $175 per 4-5 years. Support is annual and costs 59.95.

We are switching from Winnebago software can your software import our DOS data?
Answer: We can import library records from the text formatted files.

We are looking to upgrade our library software with currently about 14,000 items in it. We'd like your guidance on costs (start up and On-going) and how long it would take to upgrade our current installation from circa 2007 to something more accessible for our school to use.
