We don't want to type all our library data into the program. Can Handy Library Manager use hand barcode scanner for adding new books to library database? Scan ISBN code and pull data from internet sources into program?
How do i Scan bulk ISBN numbers and bulk search?

Auto-cataloging by ISBN number is supported, assuming the item is found on the Web. You can scan one ISBN number in the ADD item form and book data is imported into the data fields. Library new items table supports "bulk search". You can load ISBN numbers in groups from text files or you can scan group of numbers directly into the search box.

We've already loaded the database by the ISBN numbers but not been able to put all the details like subject, category etc. ; Is there an easy way to do it without having to scan the ISBN numbers again? Also can we add barcodes after we have put the data? If so how? I really appreciate your quick response. It makes my life so much easier and I love using the program.

If data is listed on the web you can use update library item data from the web. Handy Library Manager assigns barcodes, or lets users enter barcode when new record is created. The record is saved with the barcode entered by user, if user does not enter the barcode; the barcode is created automatically by the system
