How to restore library databases from a backup file sent in email?
To restore library databases from a backup file sent via email, follow these steps:
- You will receive the backup file as an attachment in an email message.
- Save the backup file in the folder located at C:/handy_lib/backup or in the corresponding backup folder.
- Review the library database restoration steps provided below.
1. Open the Library Administrator.
2. Click on the "Backup" option.
3. Select "Restore Database".
In the Open File window, select the backup file saved from your email. Click Open.
Wait until the Restore Log window opens, then click Close. Exit Handy Library and restart it to review your files.
